If Peter Pan has taught us anything, it’s that we all have to grow up at some point — even if we don’t want to. It’s impossible to stay young forever, but at least one upside to adulthood is that, if you were ever a big fan of the fictional free spirited character, you’re now old enough to commemorate both him and his message in the form of a tattoo.
Much like the ink inspired by other beloved Disney movies like Toy Story, Frozen, and The Nightmare Before Christmas, Peter Pan tattoos exist over on a small corner of the internet. The great thing about them is that, since there’s so much material in the story to pull from, you can really channel your inner Peter and use your imagination so that they can look like anything, from portraits of the title character himself to tributes to his sidekick, Tinkerbell, or even more discreet drawings of the second star on the right aka the entrance to Neverland.
Much like Peter Pan’s childhood, the possibilities are never-ending. Read ahead for some inspiration.
