Catherine Zeta-Jones, husband Michael Douglas, and son Dylan weren’t shy about soaking up the sunshine in front of the camera as they enjoyed an extended festive break. The silver screen star shared a selection of snaps with a total of almost four million avid followers.
Feeling the breeze and loving the fresh air,
In celebration of the festive season, the 52-year-old starlet shared a flawless selfie of herself reclining on a bed in a fashionable black bikini.
Earlier that same day, she had posted another of herself curled up in a silver satin blanket, while she lounged beneath it in matching metallic casual wear.
Plus, her 21-year-old son was also keen to share footage from the trip, even if he simply sat behind his parents gazing intently at a laptop, while they reclined in a jacuzzi together aboard the luxurious yacht.
Catherine also uploaded a video captioned “Walking Into 2022”, where she shared her positivity about the year to come.
“Here’s to you and yours!!” she exclaimed on her Instagram account.
“Hope 2022 brings you love. Brings you happiness. Brings you health.
“Everything else we can deal with. Love you guys. Zeta.”
Fans watching the video were treated to a cascade of colourful fireworks lighting up the night sky behind her, while the words “Love to all” appeared on the screen.
In another snap from her trip, she dazzled in a plunging dark magenta dress, with her hair swept behind her while she sat at the dinner table.
“Outside, feeling the breeze and loving the fresh air,” she wrote, before wishing her followers a “happy and healthy 2022”.
She and Michael, who have been married for over 21 years, were reported to have spent time doing yoga workouts and enjoying the sun while they recharged their batteries at their mysterious waterside location.
Catherine has also been reading and reposting motivational quotes to prepare herself for the next chapter in her life, now that the worst of the pandemic is over.
“What you think, you create,” the post read, crediting @the.lamare.
“What you feel, you attract.
“What you imagine, you become.”
While channelling a vision of sunning themselves on a yacht might be out of reach to many of the actress’ followers during the bleak and bitter UK winter, Catherine still hoped that the words of motivation could successfully “kick-start the New Year.”
Meanwhile, earlier today, Catherine also used her account to post her tribute to the late Sir Sidney Poitier, a Bahamian-American actor who broke boundaries to achieve racial equality.
“Farewell Mr. Poitier,” she lamented sadly.
“One cherished moment was hitting golf balls with you on the driving range at the club.
“So many more in admiration of you and your craft as an actor. God Bless.”
