Dancing On Ice’s Ray Quinn engaged as girlfriend says yes to New Year proposal

Ray Quinn has announced he's engaged.

The X Factor star and Dancing On Ice champ has revealed that he popped the question to girlfriend Emily Ashleigh at New Year's.

Sharing a loved-up snap on Instagram, the Hollyoaks actor wrote: "Welcome to the family my Queen #shesaidyes"

She shared the same picture, which sees her showing off her ring as she sits on his knee and wraps her arms around him as she kisses the side of his face.

The school teacher wrote: "The most beautiful things are not seen or heard, but felt …. Falling in love with you is just indescribable…..Forever it is"

"Congratulations," Gemma Collins told him.

While pal Jake Quickenden commented: "Congrats my bro x"

Ray regularly posts about his stunning new fiancee.

On December 21, he shared a gorgeous snap of her posing up in a strappy green dress with a white teddy bear coat hanging off her shoulders.

He wrote: "Felt like Frank Sinatra last night .. literally walking through a casino next to this beauty.. wow you could hear the ball bouncing around on the roulette tables as we swooped through"

Ray revealed back in 2017 that he'd found love again following his split from ex-wife Emma Stephens in 2015.

He told Star magazine at the time: "She's a school teacher and we made it official last June. It was fate. I believe whatever's meant for you won't pass you by. I can't stand dating apps. A text message or a picture on Tinder is absolutely pointless."

He also said at the time that they were taking things slowly and that marriage wasn't on the cards just yet.

He told the mag: "There's no rush. Why fix it if it's not broken. My priority is my son and keeping him happy and safe."

Ray is dad to seven-year-old Harry, who he shares with his ex Emma.

After they went public with their romance, Emily shared a gushing tribute to her beau on social media.

She wrote: "I just want to thank my lucky stars this year I found the love of my life, or you found me, whatever way it was, I've never been so happy.

"You are amazing, crazy, funny, annoying and your beautiful heart and soul is why I fell so deeply in love with you. You're one in a million and perfect for me in every way."
