Fern Britton, 63, has admitted she was unfortunately “stuck”, as she addressed an issue that came up at home last night. The former This Morning host, who separated from husband Phil Vickery, 59, earlier this year, opened up about the problem with her fans via Twitter.
I am stuck
It comes after Fern revealed she couldn’t physically move from her bed, as an obstacle was in the way.
In view of her 76,000 followers, the ITV favourite shared a snap of her gorgeous cat having a snooze on her lap.
Fern penned: “I am stuck. Hostage. Can’t clean my teeth or get nighty on.
“I just have to wait for HRH to decide to move …. please send tea.”

It wasn’t long before many followers and fans waded in to share pictures of their own pets to contribute to the conversation.
One shared a picture of their black and white cat sitting in their baking cupboard at home.
They wrote: “He looks like our Jim Jam.
“He’s a blind rescue cat we adopted in March.”
Another posted a close-up snap of their black cat as they shared: “This is currently my view x.”
A third told Fern: “I once ended up sitting in darkness because my cat had settled and I’d forgotten to put the lounge light on before I sat down.”
Fern recently moved house and opened up about being single after separating from Phil.
The presenter is now living with three of her four children, her cat and her daughter’s dog.

Fern revealed in a recent interview that her new abode is “full of love”.
The star also shared her thoughts on dating again following her split from the celebrity chef.
Fern insisted she is not looking for love right now after being in a relationship with Phil for over two decades.
She divulged in a chat with The Mirror: “I am enjoying not having to share life with somebody else.
“I’m not a man-hater. Men are great.
“I don’t think I’m prepared to hand over my autonomy just yet.”
The author then explained that being single means she can make all the decisions when decorating her house.
She added: “I have autonomy over my time and what I want to do.”
