Joey King‘s Hulu series The Act may have finished airing, but she’s not yet done promoting it!
The 19-year-old actress joined co-stars Patricia Arquette and Calum Worthy at an awards event for the show on Friday night (June 7) at the Linwood Dunn Theater in Hollywood.
The cast is currently campaigning to get Emmy nominations and they totally deserve them!
Joey, 19, traveled home to the states for just one day to attend the event. She has been in South Africa working on the sequel to Netflix’s The Kissing Booth!
Earlier in the day, Joey stopped by Deadline’s Next Gen event to talk about her Hulu series. She is in the running for Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie at the Emmys. Nominations are announced next month and she’s one of the favorites in the category.
FYI: Joey is wearing an Ulyana Sergenko dress, Olgana shoes, and Marzook bag at the event. She is wearing a Bogdar suit, Schutz shoes, and an Okhtein bag at Deadline.
