Kate Middleton has thanked fans as she received “kind wishes” on her 39th birthday.
The Duchess of Cambridge said her birthday, like many others, has been “very different” due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Kate, who recently beat Meghan Markle and Holly Willoughby as the UK’s most stylish fashion icon of 2020, shared her gratitude on her and husband Prince William’s joint Instagram account Kensington Royal.
The post shows the Duchess wearing a stunning white and blue floral face mask along with navy blue gloves and a coat of the same colour with a cream jumper underneath.

In the image, Kate is smiling and waving as her stunning brunette locks are in her signature wavy blow-dried heart style.
Kate, who was accused of breaking the rule of six shortly before Christmas, shared her gratitude to fans for their kind messages in the caption as Kensington Royal wrote: “Thank you for your kind wishes on The Duchess’ birthday.
“Birthdays have been very different in recent months, and our thoughts continue to be with all those working on the front line at this hugely challenging time.”
The stunning snap received more than 30,000 likes from some of the account’s 12.3million followers while some shared their birthday wishes to Kate in the comments.
One wrote: “Happy birthday beautiful Duchess!”
Another added: “Happy birthday Catherine” followed by a red heart emoji. Meanwhile a third said: “What a kind and sensitive message! Happy birthday, HRH! The world doesnt deserve you!” [sic]
Meanwhile, the Royal family shared their birthday wishes to Kate on their own Instagram accounts.
Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall Camilla shares a stunning photo of Kate smiling on their Instagram and wrote: “Happy Birthday to The Duchess of Cambridge!”

The Royal Family social media account shared a message from the Queen, writing: "Wishing The Duchess of Cambridge a very happy birthday today!"
Meanwhile Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do not have a public Instagram account, since they stepped down from their roles as senior royals, and therefore haven’t shared a public message to Kate.
Kate is believed to be celebrating her birthday quietly with her husband Prince William, 38, and their three children Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, two.
The Duchess of Cambridge and her family are believed to be spending the day at their Norfolk home ofAnmer Hall, where they spent Christmas.
