Megan Barton Hanson has admitted she feels ‘awkward’ when trying to chat up women in a candid chat about her plans to date both sexes.
The model turned reality star spoke about her flirting skills on today’s episode of Loose Women ahead of tonight's arrival of Celebs Go Dating.
Megan, who shot to fame after appearing on last year’s Love Island, revealed she’ will be dating both men and women on the latest series of the hit dating show, but confessed she needs to brush up on her flirting skills with the ladies, admitting she gets “awkward.”
“Did you see how awkward I was?!” she joked when a clip of her attempting to chat up a group of women appeared on screen.
“I’ve had a physical relationship with girls," she said. "But I haven't been out for a sit down dinner or anything."
She then revealed: “With men I always felt like I had the upper hand, but with women… how can I tell the difference if they’re straight, bi, gay?”
Megan, however, appears to have had some success on the show, adn admitted she’s “kind of dating someone from the show”.
Speaking to the Loose Women panellists about her Celebs Go Dating experience, she said: “It’s gone really, really well. I’m kind of dating someone from the show, I can’t say who.”
Megan’s revelation comes after it was rumoured she’s sparked up a romance with Celebs Go Dating co-star Demi Sims , after they were snapped holding hands.
However, responding to the rumours, Megan said: “The papers twist it so much. We literally held hands!”
She added: “Oh look at me, she’s holding my hand dragging me along. I’d probably had a little too much to drink.”
Despite staying tight-lipped on her possible romance with TOWIE star Demi, Megan said she’s ready to find love again after her split from Wes Nelson at the beginning of the year.
“I thought I found that person last year… I feel like I’ve found someone nice during this process,” she said.
Looking back at her break-up with Wes, she said: “I feel like that was a lifetime ago.
“I was so jaded with the whole dating scene… it’s just so taxing. I was very jaded, but the agents have been amazing.”
Megan is among a number of stars who’ve signed up to this series of Celebs Go Dating in a bid to find love including Lauren Goodger, Demi Sims, Lee Ryan and Jack Fincham.
