She hasn’t been the luckiest in love, and now Gemma Collins has revealed that she’d consider dating a robot – and she even wants to adopt a robot baby too.

The Diva Forever And Ever star opened up about her plan B during the latest episode of her podcast, The Gemma Collins Podcast.

Gemma began by explaining that she believed she’d find comfort in replacing her parents with robot clones when they pass away, as she’d miss them so much.

She said: “When your parents pass away, you could recreate them in a robot form so you felt like they were with you.

"That [idea] makes me so happy.”

The GC, who split from boyfriend James Argent earlier this year, went on to reveal she’d even consider having a relationship with a robot – and would like a robot baby, too.

She continued: “I am going to look into the process of definitely cloning my parents and if all else fails I am going to get myself a robot boyfriend and a robot baby.”

Gemma revealed that she’d recently been pondering life without her parents, Joan and Alan.

She explained: "Funnily enough my dad was calling me from his work the other day and I thought one day he won't be able to call me from his work.

"I will miss the calls because I'm always like 'oh no it's my dad I've got to take the call'."

Shrewd businesswoman Gemma, 39, also said she was thinking of replacing members of her staff with robots to cut costs.

She confessed: "I'm thinking [having robots] could also cut down my wage bills because I have quite a lot of help in the house.

"I might as well get a robot to do it. It would be a lot cheaper."

The star has made no secret of the fact she has battled with her yo-yoing weight over the years, and recently confessed she’d ate a whole loaf of bread while comfort eating during the coronavirus lockdown.

"I went through a whole tiger bread loaf with butter to cheer myself up,” she told The Sun.

"Everyone in lockdown turned to food and I certainly did in the first few weeks.

"I probably gained about four pounds, it was nothing major but I have certainly taken it off since then and I've lost about three stone in weight."

Gemma went on to reveal that she wants to continue her weight loss journey.

She added: "It's been a great amount of weight to lose but I've still got a bit of a way to go if I'm being honest.

"I still want to lose another two or three stone."
