Stacey Solomon, 32, announced that she and fiancé Joe Swash 39, have set a new date for their wedding, after having to postpone the ceremony this year. The fan-favourite couple decided to halt proceedings after the Loose Women panellist fell pregnant with their daughter Rose, so that “all of the kids can be there”.

They will now hold their nuptials next summer.

Appearing via a video link on a pre-recorded episode of the ITV chat show alongside her fiancé and daughter for the Christmas special, Stacey said she hoped to get married to the former EastEnders actor in July 2022.

Joe proposed to his beloved on Christmas Eve last year, in a stunning setting that left their fans in awe.

They plan to tie the knot in the back garden of their new Essex home Pickle Cottage, where Stacey gave birth to their first daughter on October 4 – the same date as her 32nd birthday.

Speaking to the Loose Women panel, the pair said: “We would love… if all goes well – because Covid’s still massive and you never know what’s around the corner – but we would love to get married in July next year, we really would,” Stacey beamed.

“It will be so nice to have the boys and Rose there.”

Moving on to discuss the fast approaching Christmas celebration, Stacey said: “This is such an exciting time for Rex.

“He’s two-and-a-half and it’s the first Christmas he’s had where he’s like ‘Wow!'”

Of her two other sons Zachary, 13, and Leighton, nine, she added: “The older boys are excited for him as well.

“It’s so lovely and nice to see them all together getting excited. And it’s just nice to be in the house!”

Joe then chimed: “It’s our first Christmas in our new house, it’s the first Christmas with our new baby, and it’s the first Christmas we’re going to be as one big unit.

“We’re going to have a really lovely, lovely time.”

Before signing off, the couple joked about who will be doing the all-important Christmas Day lunch, with Joe admitting he has not cooked much since appearing on Celebrity MasterChef earlier this year.

He grinned cheekily as he revealed he’s “saving it for the Christmas dinner”.

Stacey is currently on maternity leave, but recently admitted she fears it ending.

The X Factor star confessed she’s enjoying spending time with her family too much and doesn’t want it to end.

Before she left the show earlier this year, she was quizzed on when she’s planning her return to the line-up.

At the time, she explained: “I will probably come back after Christmas, I reckon.

“I’ve never had a proper maternity leave!”
