Tortuga Music Festival Postponed Due To Coronavirus Pandemic

The eighth annual Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival, originally scheduled for between April 17 and 19 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, has now been postponed to October 2 – 4 due to concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.

The rescheduled dates feature Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan and Tim McGraw as headliners.

Pitbull, Vanilla Ice and Barenaked Ladies, who were part of the original lineup, will be there on the rescheduled dates, performing at the earlier designated venues.

Lee Brice, Runaway June, Tenille Arts and Tyler Rich are among the other singers set to perform during the festival.

“Rock the Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival is committed to the health and safety of our fans, partners employees, artists and the community,” organizers of the festival posted on Instagram.

They added, “It is a testament to our festival, our fans and our cause that we have been able to reschedule the artists and announce the move all at once.”

Passes purchased for the original April dates of Tortuga 2020 will be honored in October, a press release said.
