Vicky Pattison in tears as she discusses freezing embryos with fiancé Ercan Ramadan

Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison shed tears as she shared an update on freezing embryos with partner Ercan Ramadan.

During a romantic getaway in Dubai in February Vicky and Ercan got engaged, when the 38-year-old got down on one knee to propose.

The couple are now taking the next steps in their relationship and planning to become parents.

Posting on Instagram, Vicky said: “I’m in a really good place based on my blood tests and my scans for egg retrieval which is exactly what I wanted to hear."

She added: “Now that I’ve got this information and have a bit of time to reflect on it and work out what I want my next step to be.

“Do I want to freeze my eggs? Do I want to freeze my embryos? Embryos are my eggs with Ercan’s sperm already in them.

“When the lady was talking to us about that day it made us really emotional just imagining a tiny part of me and a tiny part of Ercan meeting for the first time in a little petri dish.

“I’m sure you’ve guessed by my little tiny tears reaction there that that is probably the direction I want to go.”

Vicky, who won I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2015 and was a Masterchef finalist, started shedding tears during the post, as she welled up with happiness at the thought of having children with Ercan.

The pair first met in 2019 and have fallen madly in love since then, sharing touching moments of their relationship on social media for fans.

Ercan appeared in Vicky’s Instagram story joking around and making her laugh, to which she playfully called him “ever the mature gentleman”.

She added with a smirk: “Now you can see why we’re potentially not quite ready to be parents.”

Vicky also had a message for fans who had contacted her with their own experiences of pregnancy.

She told viewers who watched the story that while she appreciated supportive messages, she didn’t find them reassuring because women have very different experiences of pregnancy.

She said: “I know that’s all coming from a good place, people are just trying to reassure us.

“But everybody’s body is different, and everybody’s journey is different.

“Just wish us good luck, or don’t say anything. It’s hard to say the right things to say though, and I know no one means to cause us upset or hurt.”
