I worked too hard on my Christmas tree last year to do it again… so I used a nifty hack to make it quicker this time | The Sun

THE best part of the festive period of loads of us is finally getting to put up the Christmas tree.

But let's face it, it can be a bit of a faff to do.

That's why one woman shared a nifty hack to get it done and dusted in five minutes.

Sharing the trick on her TikTok account @jenniferggreen, she revealed that she covered her fully decorated tree in cling film last year.

Jennifer explained: "Worked entirely too hard on this last years, so we wrapped it in plastic and it worked out perfect!"

Since she spent ages making the perfect rainbow tree with her baubles last year, she knew she didn't want to go through the hassle of it again.

Tightly wrapping the entire tree in cling film ensured none of the decorations moved and didn't get dusty.

To move the tree Jennifer carefully pulled it from her garage and popped it in the right place in her home.

Viewers loved the idea, one said: "Work smarter, not harder! You go!!"

A second wrote: "My mum does the plastic wrap into the attic every year."

"Girl if I had the storage I'd be doing this too," another Christmas fan commented.

And someone else said: "Is this your living room tree? I always enjoyed helping decorate growing up?"

Jennifer explained that the rainbow tree wasn't the main tree and would be in her bedroom, so her kids can still help decorate.
