Mum raves about £10 Boots detangling brush which transformed her daughter's curly hair

WE can't exactly blame any mums for thinking that brushing their daughters' hair is a sweet way to bondwith them – because in reality, it's much more likely to result in a screaming match.

However, that doesn't always have to be the case – as mums are raving about a £10 electric hairbrush from Boots which promises to painlessly detangle knotted hair in minutes.

Posting a photo of her daughter's smooth hair on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, the mum wrote: "[This] Remington Detangler is now £9.99 at Boots.

"It works so good on curly hair and can be used on wet or dry hair."

In other words, the budget-friendly buy – which is currently half price in the January sale – is ideal for getting rid of knots before you blow dry wet hair or on days when things are particularly tangled…. something this particular mum knows all too well.

Before bagging the bargain brush, the mum admitted: "Everyday was a fight with her hair."

The electric brush bristles work to gently unravel knots – meaning you don't have to tug away at knots and risk pulling out clumps of hair.

The mum gushed: "It works amazing – I can never seem to get them out with it. It's effortless and no screaming from my daughter."

What's more, other members in the group have shared their own experiences with the bargain brush.

One replied: "This is amazing on my daughter's hair. It's past her bum a bit and gets so knotty.

"But the last two days, she has brushed it herself – no problem. Not tried it on wet hair yet but it's great on dry."

Another gushed: "I got this for Christmas!! It's go good."

A third added: "Works amazing on my daughters very thick, very curly hair much better than a Tangle Teezer or big tooth comb or leave in conditioners."

For more beauty must-haves, shoppers are in a frenzy over Poundland's incredible dupe of Victoria's Secret's £13 body spray.

And mums are raving over Primark's £9 hairdryer and say it's "better than expensive salon dryers".

Plus woman bagged an £80 Revolution make-up set for just £10 in the Superdrug sale and it includes EIGHT palettes.
