CLEANING is a never ending chore which can feel repetitive, and no matter how many hours you spend scrubbing there’s always a spot you miss.
So in order to make sure she leaves no sofa cushion unturned, one mum decided to make a cleaning rota.
She religiously sticks to the schedule, and even decided to laminate it to ensure it doesn’t get dirty itself so she can keep referring to it.
The cleaning fan shared her spic-and-span rota to Facebook group Clean, Declutter,Organise Your Home UK, where it racked up dozens of likes.
The rigorous schedule involves both bathrooms, the kitchen, living room, back garden and even the front of the house.
The mum even made sure to include the dogs in her comprehensive list, which she ticks off when completed.
Fellow mums shared their own tips for making a rota, with one woman saying: “I just write down what needs doing in each room (this list was from one of my more active weeks).
“Writing it all down sometimes as I’ve done it makes me feel better.”
Another wrote: “I have a little plastic pocket that’s magnetic and sticks onto my fridge – that’s where I keep them.”
A third commented: “Omg I love your handwriting! Great cleaning routine too, you’ve inspired me.”
While this woman added: “Jeez, well done guys if you get through that lot, if I did then I would not work, eat, cook…”
