Best Cheap Cushions 2019 | The Sun UK

ANYONE else addicted to cushions?

We can't get enough of them and with good reason, as cheap cushions are the simplest way to add colour, texture and update your home in a flash.

Not keen on colour? Go for cushions with lots of texture or pattern instead – tassels, pom poms and shaggy designs are ideal for adding visual interest, while velvet is still flying high, as are geometric shapes, metallics and marbling.

Cheap cushions mean you won’t feel bad about changing them around from season to season too, and with the summer approaching there’s lots of fun and floral designs to tempt you.

The trick to styling them is to mix up the shapes, sizes, and materials to add interest.

Pop the larger ones at the back and add a few varying sizes, finishing up with a round or rectangular design as the piece de resistance.

It’s also wise to think about where your cushion is for.

Will it be purely for display purposes, or placed on the sofa where it’s likely to get sat on, squished and thrown around in family homes, in which case you might want to go for a more hard-wearing material and not the blush pink velvet design.

Whatever style you want, we’ve got a great selection to show you, so prepare for the latest, greatest, cheapest cushions to get you started.

1. Totally Yay

Pom-poms, will they ever go out of fashion?

We hope not. This colourful design features a "Yay" slogan to the front and a bright orange reverse with matching pom poms on the corners.

And the best bit? It has a wipe-clean surface and can be used outdoors too.

2. Graphic Design

Floral doesn’t have to mean old fashioned or twee – this bright cushion is a good example of a modern print that’s fun and beautifully bold.

Plus, it’s the ideal shape to use as a support for your neck or lower back, making it a practical choice, too.

3. Tribal Style

Berber rugs have been having a "moment", with the likes of Instagram and interior mags full of beautiful boho designs, so why not snap up a cushion cover to match?

This multicoloured design takes its inspiration from North African Berber styles and is made from 90 per cent wool, 10 per cent cotton, so it’s super fluffy.

4. Beautifully Boho

Don’t you just love it when a cushion has a different print on the front and back?

We do, which is just one of the reasons this little beauty made our cushion cut.

The elephant design on the front is complemented by a tribal print to the back, and a zesty orange pom pom trim adds a vibrant touch to the otherwise monochrome design.
