The quiz show winner has a fortune of around £2million, according to Net Worth Post.

Judith was born in Wolverhampton on August 18, 1942.

She first appeared on television while taking part on the quiz show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?.

At the time Judith was 58-years-old and had a career out of the limelight.

Her episode aired on November 20, 2000 which was two years after the show began in the UK.

Even though the show had been on the air for a couple of years, she became the first person in the UK to win the top prize of £1million.

Judith was only the 12th person to ever win the fortune on the TV show, which has versions in around 100 countries.

Before appearing on TV, she had started to build her bank account as a garden designer.

Judith was working in London but later said she was struggling for money.

To get on the show the quiz show star was said to spend £100 phoning up to apply.

Judith was reportedly so determined to appear on the show that she applied 50 times.

She previously revealed she wanted to apply as she thought the questions were manageable.

“I noticed the questions weren’t that difficult and the prize money was huge,” she told the Telegraph in 2014.

“I wasn’t aiming for the million; I thought £32,000 would be nice.”

However, her skills helped her land the main prize and become a millionaire.

Judith has topped up her fortune by continuing to show off her general knowledge expertise.

Since 2003, she has been a regular competitor on the BBC quiz show Eggheads.

Judith regularly appears with seven other “Eggheads” to compete against five members of the public.

She is joined by fellow Eggheads including Kevin Ashman, Chris Hughes and Barry Simmons.
