Lady Amelia Windsor models baby pink underwear made from SEAWEED and wood pulp – as she urges fashion fans to only buy eco-friendly designs

Lady Amelia Windsor has shown her commitment to only wearing ethically-sound fashion brands, by modelling pink underwear made of seaweed and wood pulp. 

The 25-year-old distant royal, who is 39th in line to the throne, shared a quartet of retro photos showing her wearing the £36 sustainable underwear in a shade of baby pink.

The eco-friendly trinagle bra is made with SeaCell (seaweed) and Tencel (wood pulp) and was designed by Alexander Clementine, who Lady Amelia has collaborated with. 

The Polaroid-style photos showed the model, who’s also a contributing editor at Tatler magazine, in playful mood, as she reached for several props including a cup of tea, a vase of stylish flowers and a stripy shot for the casual shots.

The model, who is 39th in line to the throne and a contributing editor in Tatler Magazine, is a huge fan of sustainable fashion, recently naming her 10 favourite eco-friendly brands for the fashion bible 

In another photo, Lady Amelia, who posed against a red wall and teamed the bra with stonewash denim, dons shades, with her loose blonde locks tumbling over her shoulders.

Amelia Windsor posted to her 88,000 followers on Instagram after sharing the snaps, saying: ‘So excited to share this collaboration. An underwear set made in London.’ 

She added: ‘The super soft baby pink fabric is made with SeaCell (seaweed) and Tencel (wood pulp). Both of these fibres come from fully regenerative resources and the fabric maintains the many health benefits of seaweed like vitamins A, C, E and B12 that are super kind to our skin.’

The royal has modelled for the likes of Dolce & Gabbana and designed her own range of accessories in collaboration with Penelope Chilvers.

She is signed to Storm models, which represents the likes of Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne – and regulalry posts about ethical fashion on her Instagram account. 

Additionally she has been named as a contributing editor for Tatler Magazine, and reportedly interned at jewellery house Bulgari, during her time studying at Edinburgh University.  

This week, the 25-year-old fashionista shared her favourite sustainable fashion desighers in an article for Tatler, including brands such as Lydia Bolton, Been London and Kapara.
