The eighth series of Love Island is well underway, which means it's only a matter of time before the first elimination takes place.
Viewers watched in anticipation as the first recoupling took place on Friday 10 June, but as Liam Llewellyn had decided to leave the villa earlier that day, it meant that no one was dumped from the show.
It's been reported by The Sun that a "brutal recoupling" has taken place over recent days which has resulted in a second contestant having to leave the villa after being left single, however the scenes are scheduled to be aired on Tuesday 14 June.
The Love Island dumpings are also emotional, but some previous eliminations have been exceptionally brutal and dramatic.

Shannon Singh dominated the headlines when it was revealed that she was heading into the Love Island villa in 2021, but her stint on the ITV2 show lasted just three days.
The 23 year old former glamour model was left devastated when a shock twist left her single and she was immediately dumped from the villa.
Shannon's exit marked the quickest Love Island exit in history, as most dumpings usually occur after the Islanders have spent at least a week in the villa.
Zara McDermott entered the villa in 2018 as a bombshell and she went on to find love with Adam Collard during her time on the show.
The 25 year old's time on Love Island was cut short as she was brutally dumped from the show after the boys in the villa – Josh Denzel, Jack Fincham and Wes Nelson – chose to eliminate her and save the other girls.
Zara was devastated as she had to leave Adam behind as he decided to stay on the show.
Rachel Fenton's Love Island exit was exceptionally dramatic, with her partner Rykard Jenkins choosing to leave with her.
The nurse, 29, was told she had to leave the show while enjoying a day at the beach with her fellow Islanders, and Rykard, 31, couldn't bare to see the blonde beauty leave without him.
The couple left the show together and went on to enjoy a romance outside the villa, before eventually splitting up.
Ellie Brown & Charlie Brake
Another dramatic dumping happened in 2018, with Ellie Brown and Charlie Brake being told to leave the show while enjoying a day out at the Island Beach Club.
Ellie, 24, branded the dumping "bittersweet" while Charlie, 27, said that he felt he was ready to leave Love Island.
The pair went on the enjoy a relationship outside of the villa but eventually called it quits after Charlie was accused of cheating.
Jonny Mitchell's Love Island dumping in 2017 was definitely one of the most brutal, with the 31 year old being told that he'd been voted as one of four least popular Islanders in a savage public vote.
The rest of the Islanders then narrowed it down to Jonny and his love interest Tyla Carr, and they had to decide which of them would have to leave the villa.
Jonny was dumped from the show in emotional scenes, with Tyla being extremely upset by the news.
Sam Bird & Georgia Steel
Georgia Steel's stint in the Love Island was drama-filled to say the least, but she eventually coupled up with Sam Bird with the pair's romance continuing to go from strength to strength.
The couple were eventually dumped from the villa together after they refused to couple up with anyone else than each other in dramatic scenes.
Georgia, 24, and Sam, 29, enjoyed a short-lived romance outside of Love Island before going their separate ways.
Love Island fans were left shocked when Jessica Shears was brutally dumped from Love Island in 2017 after entering the villa as a bombshell.
Jess, 27, caught the eye of Dominic Lever, 31, the minute she arrived and the pair soon fell for one another, leaving Dom devastated when she was told to leave.
He decided to stay on the show rather than leave, but he remained faithful to Jess and didn't attempt to get to know any other girls during the rest of his stay in the villa.
Dom was eventually dumped from Love Island and he and Jess soon reunited. The pair have gone to tie the knot and welcome a son, and they announced earlier this year that they are expecting their second child together.
