And although most of Abbie’s viewers appear to enjoy watching the mother-daughter duo and usually flood the comment section of her videos with positive responses, some of them have recently started to slam her for her interesting choice of nickname.

According to Abbie, she began looking for a nickname for the baby after she noticed that people didn’t like the name Poppy.

She said she decided to start calling the baby Poot because she thought it was ‘cute’ – but the moniker caused quite the stir with her followers.

However, she seems unbothered by the firestorm of negative comments that she has received over the name, and she recently posted a video of herself responding to the people who are not a fan of it.

In the clip, which quickly went viral – gaining more than six million views in just three days – she stared into the camera with an annoyed look on her face, as some of the nasty messages flashed across the screen.  

‘Why would you name her Poot?’ one read. Another said, ‘Poot sounds like a fart.’

‘She’s going to get bullied her entire life,’ a third person wrote. 

‘Poot James is the ugliest name ever,’ one last comment read.

Next, the video cut to a photo of the toddler, who is now seven-months-old, smiling and wearing a hoodie that had the word ‘Poot’ on it.

‘Go little rock star,’ Abbie wrote alongside the pic.

Other people came to Abbie’s defense, and some pointed out that Poot wasn’t actually the baby’s real name 

‘Poot is adorable for a baby but when she grows up it would be a little weird,’ one person wrote.

Another added: ‘She will be beggin’ for a name change in high school.’ 

Someone else wrote: ‘I would die if my parents gave me that name.’

Other people came to Abbie’s defense, and some pointed out that Poot wasn’t actually the baby’s real name.
