Morrisons sells Hellfire sausages filled with some of world’s spiciest chillies

Morrisons is promising fireworks in your mouth this Bonfire Night.

The supermarket has brought back its super spicy ‘Hellfire’ sausages.

Its bangers are made from 100% British sausage meat and an explosive combination of Naga Ghost, Trinidad Scorpion and Carolina Reaper chilli.

These chillies are some of the hottest you can get, according to the Guinness World Records.

If you’re brave enough to try them, you can pick up a pack of six of the Hellfire sausages for £2.65.

Morrisons is also running a deal where you can get two packs of bangers for £4.

The Hellfire sausages won’t be in supermarkets for long as they’re limited edition.

Morrisons Buyer, Campbell Breakwell, commented: "These sausages cooked up a storm amongst our customers last year, so rightfully we had to bring them back!

“For those feeling dare devilish enough to try them for the first time, we’d suggest having a glass of milk at the ready."

This isn’t the only spicy product the supermarket is selling at the moment.

For Halloween, Morrisons started selling a Grim Reaper pizza.

The fast food item is topped with Carolina Reaper chillis, which are the world’s hottest peppers.

They measure more than 2 million units on the Scoville heat scale, 440 times hotter than a jalapeño.

The pizza is also dotted with birds eye chillies, which measure between 50,000 -100,000 on the scale.

If that isn’t tongue-tingling enough, it also contains hot nduja sausage and spicy chicken.

The pizza is finished with a generous helping of fiery cheese for a final kick.
