My boyfriend is pressuring me to break lockdown rules and visit each other

DEAR DEIDRE: MY boyfriend insists that it’s OK for us to go to one another’s houses but under the pandemic rules, it isn’t.

We’ve been together for two years. We are both 19 and we both live with our parents, not far from one another.

I don’t mind going out for a walk because that is permitted under Covid-19 guidance.

But my boyfriend keeps asking to visit.

He says we can keep our distance but I know he won’t stick to that.

DEIDRE SAYS: Your boyfriend needs to learn a little patience.

We all have to pull along together while the country is in crisis.

Tell him you don’t want to upset your parents bending the rules, but you can call him more or go for walks.
