It’s been more than 72 hours since the first polling booths closed in the US and no, we still don’t know who has won the presidential election.

We are now awaiting results from four states: Nevada, Georgia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

If Joe Biden is victorious in any of the four, he will go past the total 270 Electoral College votes he needs to become president.

Donald Trump needs to win all four states to retain his position.

In his first press conference since election night, the President made a series of assertions ranging from the election being riddled with fraud to declaring media polling as “electoral interference”.

It’s safe to say this is getting messy.
