It’s an emotional week for the Neighbours inhabitants as a sense of confusion reigns, and someone needs to give Toadie a huge hug with what he’s about to go through. He’s just lost his wife, does he really need another coming back from the dead?!
Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor) is confronted when he sees Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) moving on and doesn’t know how to deal with it – so he looks to revenge.
Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) is confused by his feelings for the whole Andrea (Madeleine West) and Dee situation – it looks like there’s proof she is alive! How will he take it?
Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) is in for a shocker when it comes to the truth about Pierce, and Paul (Stefan Dennis) is left surprised when a randy Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) suddenly springs some sexy times on him.
Here’s what’s happening this week in Neighbours!
1. There’s proof Dee is alive
Toadie might be convinced that Dee really did die all those years ago – but could he be totally wrong? The sighting of Karen coincided with the death of Dee’s sister Cecile, so things start to hold water. Karl is sceptical like Toadie and uses hypnosis on Andrea to get to the bottom of things, but as she starts talking about a man called Ian she becomes seriously distressed and he has to bring her to. Toadie is convinced it’s all an act, but lets Shane, Dipi and Mark keep investigating.
Whatever the outcome, Toadie knows keeping Andrea around is key to getting justice against Heather. But this woman called Karen does seem to exist – is this proof Dee really is alive?
2. Paul is caught in a crime
It’s rare that Paul is the one to fall into a trap, but it does happen and he’s about to find himself embroiled in a crime without, for once, meaning to be. As he begins to soften towards Roxy, she tries to convince him to buy the racehorse. He’s not interested and gives her a firm no, but after a surprise sexy time with Terese – unbeknownst to him prompted by her urges for Vance – Paul decides to buy the horse to treat Terese. Vance is horrified – they were meant to be getting rid of the horse, not keeping it in the family. Will Paul be implicated in his scheme?
3. Andrea’s shocking secret revealed
It’s clear Andrea has an ulterior motive – when does she not? After managing to wangle some time with Hugo, she seems to be getting her feet firmly under the table. She promises Toadie she’ll do what she can to track down Heather too if it means getting more time with her son. But when she heads back to Geelong, the first thing she does is make a call – to Heather. She tells her she plans to string out the search for Karen so that Toadie gets used to having her around. She wants them to be a happy family and will do what it takes to get them there.
4. Mark’s dark revenge
Mark’s been distracted with the Andrea stuff but his own problems are set to come back and hit him between the eyes. Aaron becomes concerned he’s throwing himself into work to forget about the break down of his marriage, and he’d be right, leading him to question whether he should stick around instead of going away with his husband. But when Mark sees Elly with Shaun something is stirred in him, and he comes up with a plan – deciding to investigate Shaun’s connection with the fire that destroyed evidence against Finn. He’s out for revenge – how far will he go to get it?
5. Sex shock for Yashvi?
Yashvi’s crush on Ned is going into overdrive and she finds out that Ned has been taking a lot of interest in her footy games. She’s further heartened when he thanks her for standing by him after the whole nearly killing people with gas saga. When they talk, she becomes convinced he’s staring at her lips, but in truth he’s amused by the fact she has food on her face. Having got the wrong end of the stick, she goes in for the snog forcing Ned to crush her by setting her straight. She runs off embarrassed, has she ruined their friendship? Or could Ned be starting to see her differently?
6. Elly and Shaun for romance?
Elly is uncomfortable with Shaun back in town and Finn urges her to get to know him, and slowly they start to bond over the fact they’re about to become parents. She’s oblivious to Mark’s pain at seeing her and Shaun together, and proceeds to get to know the father of her baby better. Elly starts to enjoy her new found friendship with Shaun – it’s easy and she feels relaxed around him. Is she moving on from Mark already?
7. A proposal for Chloe?
Chloe is still convinced that Pierce is in town for her, so she calls on Sheila to spy on him to get to the bottom of things. Sheila spots him with a ring, and Leo divulves that Pierce has hired the Back Lane Bar for a romantic evening. A proposal perhaps? Chloe rushes over to the bar to see what’s going on, ready to let him down gently. But when she discovers the truth about what’s really happening, is it her who will get her feelings hurt?
Scenes air from Monday 3rd June at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
