TikTok users were creeped out after a woman's head was so swollen that when she touched it, it appeared completely 'hollow'.
TikToker @mcpartyy shared the clip online of the bizarre moment when she pierced her forehead with her finger and the skin underneath was left not moving at all.
Lauren captioned the short video with "send help", leaving her fans in disbelief of what they were seeing.
Her face appears red, tender, and severely swollen in the footage.
But when she places pressure on her head, a large dent surfaces and doesn't budge.
A white ring stays put and the shine picked up on the camera reveals it's not a trick.
Although it could be quite terrifying for anyone to discover, Lauren smiles in the clip at the strange occurrence.
The video, which has been watched more than 10 million times, has more than 50,000 comments as people try to work out what is happening.
One person wrote: "Girl your skull ain't suppose to be squishy."
Another person concerned said: "Ummm I'm not a scientist or anything, I don't think it's supposed to do that."

But someone joked "you've got a soft spot" in the comments section.
Many viewers opted to go down the spiritual route and suggested she was "opening up her third eye".
However, Dr. Shah on the video site gave one possible explanation.
He wrote that it could be down to severe sunburn.
He commented: "This can be seen with really bad sunburns due to fluid building up in the skin – but would recommend seeing a doctor ASAP if this isn't improving!"

The next day Lauren gave an update to her fans.
She said: "Good morning everyone.
"This is not what I normally look like, but this is the second day of being swollen.
"I did try to put a crystal on it and it didn't really stay.
"But no, I do not need to go to the ER but thank you. I'm okay."

It's unclear if Lauren was out in the sun before her head became swollen.
Although more physicians offered advice in the comments section with Sandra Lee, the famous Dr Pimple Popper, telling her how to help it subside.
She told her to "try to stay upright as long as you can maybe prop your head up on more pillows so gravity can encourage fluids to subside faster!"
