Chelsea transfer news – latest odds: Bookies reveal SIX most likely Stamford Bridge striker signings | The Sun

BETFAIR have announced their top SIX most likely strikers to be heading to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Tammy Abraham and Harry Kane are tied for top spot as the bookies' favourites at 14/1 to join the Blues, following the club's decision to opt out of a move for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The position of striker has been a difficult one to fill at Stamford Bridge of late.

Last summer, the Blues splashed £102million on re-signing Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan.

12 months later, the Belgian has been shipped back to the Italian side on loan after a disappointing season in West London.

The summer before, £48m was spent on Timo Werner from Leipzig.

The German has scored just ten league goals in two seasons for Chelsea.

Lukaku and Werner's struggles mean the door is still open at Chelsea for a new striker to come in and finally seal a starting berth.

And Betfair reckon that Tammy Abraham, the academy graduate who left Stamford Bridge just 12 months ago to join Roma for £36m, is joint top of Chelsea's striker shopping list.

The 24-year-old scored 26 goals for Jose Mourinho's Roma side last term, and helped win the inaugural Europa Conference League.

The striker has four years on his contract in Italy still so would be unlikely to come cheap.

Joint at the top of the list alongside Abraham, is his England strike partner Harry Kane.

The Tottenham man, despite being one of the greatest strikers in the world, is yet to win a trophy in his career, and has been linked with a move away from Spurs in a bid to win some silverwere.

Last summer, Kane was the subject of two mammoth bids from Manchester City, both of which Tottenham rejected.

Antonio Conte has since taken over at Spurs and is looking to build a side to bring silverware to the white side of North London for the first time since 2008.

The England captain has two years on his deal at Tottenham still and it's unlikely the club would be accepting any bids for him this summer.

Former Manchester United striker Memphis Depay is also in the mix at 16/1.

The Netherlands international was signed by Barcelona from Lyon last summer on a two-year deal.

But the Catalan side have since signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January and are still wishing to sign Robert Lewandowski this summer, meaning Depay is surplus to requirements at Camp Nou.

Luis Suarez and Paulo Dybala are both free agents at the moment, having seen out their contracts at Atletico Madrid and Juventus respectively.

The two are priced at 20/1 and 25/1, though it seems the 35-year-old Suarez is expecting to join an MLS side this summer, and it looks increasingly like that Dybala will be staying in Italy.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is priced at 33/1 to join Chelsea but there are many teams that are ahead of the Blues in the pecking order, such as Newcastle, Arsenal and Manchester United.
