De Ligt could snub Man Utd and Barca transfers for PSG thanks to his agent Mino Raiola

MATTHIJS DE LIGT could be set to snub both Manchester United and Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain.

The Dutch centre-back, 19, is one of the most sought after players in the world after a stunning season with Ajax.

He will leave Holland this summer but is yet to decide on a new club, with Liverpool and Juventus also thought to be interested.

ESPN claim Barca will make one last attempt to sign De Ligt this week by re-opening talks with his agent Mino Raiola.

The Catalan club believed they had won him over with their £115,000-a-week offer in March but PSG blew that out of the water by promising to pay him £260k a week.

According to the Daily Mail, the French moneybags are confident of winning the race for the £80million-rated star's signature.

P$G IN THE LEAD

Raiola has a good relationship with PSG's sporting director Leonardo, which could prove to be the difference in negotiations.

De Ligt himself has refused to rule out anyone – meaning a Premier League switch is still on the cards – but told his suitors to wait until he finishes his holidays in a few weeks to hear his decision.

Cristiano Ronaldo urged him to sign for Juve after Portugal's Nations League triumph on Sunday, while De Ligt's former team-mate Frenkie De Jong would love to link up with him again at Barca.

The Ajax captain insists he will make up his own mind and is not motivated by money.

He said: "I do not pay attention to anyone, I have to choose my own path.

"Money is not the problem.

"For me, the most important thing is to know that in the team where I go I can have prominence and play many games."
