Lionel Messi ‘suffering’ at PSG, according to close pal Luis Suarez… because of the COLD WEATHER in Paris

LIONEL MESSI is ‘suffering’ at Paris Saint-Germain due to the weather, according to Luis Suarez.

The South American duo were team-mates at Barcelona and soon struck up a close friendship that remains strong to this day.

But this summer, a year after Suarez was allowed to leave for Atletico Madrid on a free, Messi departed the Nou Camp too.

The 34-year-old was forced to exit the Nou Camp due to Barcelona’s financial difficulties but soon softened the blow by penning a £650,000-a-week deal at PSG.

That has also led to him reuniting with another ex-Barca ace in Neymar as part of a star-studded three-pronged attack alongside Kylian Mbappe.

However, despite them sitting top of LIgue 1, Messi has only scored four times for his new side as he appears to be struggling to adapt to his new surroundings.

Suarez, 34, has now revealed why his pal may be finding it difficult – and it’s due to the cold.

The Uruguayan told TNT Sports: “He told me that when he is playing in the cold, he suffers a lot and with the snow.

“You have to get used to what the cold weather there is like, sure."

Messi and his PSG team-mates are currently top of Ligue 1 and have already qualified for the Champions League knockout stages.

And despite being ordered to demolish his £26million hotel last week, he was still celebrating after he was voted the winner of the Ballon d’Or for an incredible SEVENTH time.
