Mike Tyson next fight: Logan Paul is odds-on to fight boxing legend

MIKE TYSON is odds-on favourite to take on Logan Paul in his next boxing match.

Iron Mike, the boxing Hall of Famer who turns 56 next June, has confirmed he will return to the ring in 2022.

And Paddy Power believe his showdown, which is set for February, will be against YouTube sensation and Jake Paul's brother, Logan.

Paddy Power have the elder Paul brother leading the market at 1/5.

Tyson told The Sun: "I am going to have a return fight in February and we are pretty skeptical about the opponent, but it will be a really stimulating opponent."

He was believed to be going up against one of the Paul brothers but since Jake announced his fight against Tommy Fury, Logan is set to box the legend.

And Tyson has said a bout against one of the Logan brothers would make him a huge amount of cash.

Last year he said: “That is the fight for the money. Those are the money-making fights, those guys got 35 million people to watch."

“Yes. Hell, I would fight them. They would fight me. That would make a lot of money. Hundred million dollars, they do anything, they don’t mind getting beat up for a hundred million dollars.”

And a fight against the younger Jake is seemingly off the cards for the time being after he announced his fight against Tommy Fury.

Next in the market would be a trilogy fight against Evander Holyfield at 4/1 after their epic bouts in 1996 and 1997.

Tyson would be seeking revenge over his old foe after losing the two famous fights.

Spokesman Paddy Power said: “We’ve seen loads of nonsense fights between old-timers and pretenders, so what’s one more to add to the list, right? To be fair, we rate the chances here as fairly even, and Mike Tyson’s not going to have it all his own way.

“There aren’t too many people that would be willing to step into the ring with Iron Mike, let alone someone who’s hardly a pro. So, it’ll probably be a nail-biting experience for Logan Paul, but hopefully not an ear-biting one this time…”
