Norwich next manager odds – Chris Wilder leads the pack with John Terry, Steve Bruce and Roy Keane in the mix

CHRIS WILDER is favourite to replace Daniel Farke as Norwich manager.

That's according to bookmakers Betfair, who've installed Wilder at 3/1 to take the reins at Carrow Road if Farke is sent packing.

Behind Wilder is Lucien Favre (8/1), John Terry (9/1), and Sam Allardyce (10/1).

Norwich have struggled to adapt to Premier League life.

The Canaries have lost eight of their 10 top-flight matches since winning the Championship with 97 points last season.

They are rock-bottom of the division with two points and eight adrift from safety.

Farke's side have scored a league-low three goals since returning to the top division and have conceded a league-high 25.

Norwich lost their main attacking threat in Emiliano Buendia to Aston Villa ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.

But they still spent £60million on new additions including Milot Rashica, Christos Tzolis and Josh Sargent.

In fact, Norwich were the 11th highest spenders in Europe during the summer transfer window.

Despite that, Norwich sporting director Stuart Webber publicly backed Farke following their 7-0 defeat to Chelsea.

Asked if the manager still had the club's backing, Webber said: "Of course.

"The situation here isn't down to one person. When we win it's not down to one person, when we lose it's not down to one person.

"I and the club are 100 per cent behind him."

Wilder has been out of work since leaving Sheffield United last season while Favre has been linked with Crystal Palace and Newcastle since leaving Borussia Dortmund.

Terry is still looking for his first managerial role since leaving Aston Villa as Dean Smith's assistant.

With the international break coming after this weekend's fixtures it could be the time for change at Carrow Road.
