    GOOD MORNING FOOTY FANS

Mesut Ozil touched down in Turkey yesterday to complete his switch to Fenerbahce.

The Arsenal outcast jetted to Istanbul after he was given permission to sign for the Super Lig club on a free transfer.

Fenerbahce uploaded pictures of the 32-year-old – draped in a club scarf – stepping off a private jet alongside the caption: “Our club is bringing Mesut Ozil to Istanbul to continue the transfer process.”

Ozil also showed off a picture inside the plane alongside wife Amine Gulse and their daughter, Eda.

Elsewhere, Manchester City are reportedly plotting a shock transfer swoop for ex-United striker Romelu Lukaku as Pep Guardiola eyes a ‘£200m squad overhaul’.

Sergio Aguero’s contract expires at the end of this season while Gabriel Jesus has scored just once in his last ten appearances.

And according to The Telegraph, City want Lukaku as a long-term successor to record-goalscorer Aguero, who has struggled with injuries in recent months.

In other news, West Brom boss Sam Allardyce is eyeing up a move for Portuguese midfielder William Carvalho, according to the Daily Mail.

Allardyce is eager for a transfer overhaul at the Hawthorns in a desperate bid to keep the Baggies in the Premier League.

Real Betis midfielder Carvalho has 64 caps for Portugal and was linked with a move to Wolves in the summer.

The 28-year-old was also previously linked with the Baggies in 2017, with then manager Tony Pulis eager to get a £26million move done, although a transfer never materialised.

And finally, Real Madrid have reportedly joined rivals Atletico in the hunt for Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette.

The Mail claims the Frenchman and Gunners boss Mikel Arteta no longer share a mutual bond in the dressing room.

And Lacazette could be allowed to move on as he is not in Arteta’s long-term plans.

The former Lyon man, 29, is out of contract in 2022.

A BALE OF WOE – EXCLUSIVE

Jose Mourinho is running out of patience with Gareth Bale.

Tottenham’s Welsh superstar, 31, cut a forlorn figure again yesterday as he was an unused sub in their 3-1 win at Sheffield United.

And Bale’s latest snub came the day after Spurs released an official video in which Mourinho can be heard explaining his concerns about the winger.

In the video, shared on Spurs TV, the Portuguese coach asked: “You want to stay here? Or go to Real Madrid and play no football?”

SunSport can reveal Mourinho was talking to No 2 Joao Sacramento and other backroom staff. The Spurs boss was telling them what he said to Bale in crisis talks he had with the star, who is on a season loan from the Bernabeu.

It is understood the Spurs boss was not keen on Bale joining as he felt the squad already had enough wide players.

    GOT INTER DEBT

Inter Milan are reportedly in ‘serious financial trouble’ with the club unable to afford the installment due for Achraf Hakimi.

The Italian side are due to make an £8.9million payment to Real Madrid for the 22-year-old summer signing.

According to AS, Inter have been badly affected by the pandemic and are facing major financial problems.

Midfielder Hakimi moved to Italy last summer and Inter were scheduled to pay £8.9m to Real Madrid this month. But the clubs have reportedly agreed a new date for the payment with Inter expected to provide the money at the end of March.

Hakimi has been a key player for Inter this season with the Morocco international scoring six goals in 23 appearances. Antonio Conte’s side are currently second in Serie A and challenging for the title.

But Inter’s financial woes are leading to speculation over the club being sold. The players’ wages have not been paid on time and the owners, Suning Group, are considering selling the club.

And according to The Telegraph, City want Lukaku as a long-term successor to record-goalscorer Aguero, who has struggled for injuries in recent months.

It is a deal that would send shock waves through Manchester.

The Belgian star, 27, is enjoying life at Inter Milan since his £73m transfer from Old Trafford in 2019 after scoring an impressive 51 goals in just 73 appearances under Antonio Conte.

And his Premier League experience could be crucial when City do look to bring in a replacement for Aguero.

    SCRAP FOR SANSON

Marseille midfielder Morgan Sanson is subject to interest from a host of Premier League clubs.

According to Sportsmail Aston Villa have begun talks with the 26-year-old, with West Ham, Arsenal and Spurs also battling for his signature.

Sanson has entered the final eighteen months of his Marseille contract meaning the club may be forced to cash in for as little as £20million.

Speaking in his post match press conference after the 2-1 home defeat to Nimes, Marseille boss Andre Villas-Boas said: "We'll see. The transfer window is open, Sanson is a player who is highly rated.

"Officially, we have not received any offers, unless it happened during the match.

"He is a boy who interests English teams because of his characteristics, and it is possible that something could happen."

    ON FOR EDOUARD

Sebastien Haller's departure from West Ham has opened the door for the Hammers to sign Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard, according to reports.

Speaking to Football Insider, Kevin Phillips believes the 23-year-old Frenchman is a perfect fit for the Hammers.

He said: "The obvious club I could see Edouard at is West Ham.

"That is the one that jumps out at you. Antonio does really well but he is very injury prone. Other than him they do not have any strikers, certainly no out-and-out centre-forward.

"They are the club that I think will be making enquiries for Edouard and the one who may push the boat out and spend a few quid.

"Yes, they lost money on Haller but sometimes you have to do that to get the target that you want.

"There will be a host of clubs queueing up to sign Edouard, it will be a question of who can afford him.

"Let’s not forget that London has a big draw for players. It can sway players into signing for the likes of West Ham. I certainly think they will be one of the frontrunners."

    BACK FOR MORI'

AC Milan have the option to make Fikayo Tomori's loan move permanent in the summer for just £27million, according to reports.

The Serie A league leaders are on the brink of signing the out-of-favour Blues defender, 23, until the end of the season.

Tomori has slipped below Thiago Silva, Kurt Zouma, Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen under Frank Lampard this season.

Now, reports in Italy claim Milan have the option – but not obligation – to make Tomori's loan move permanent in the summer in a £27m deal, according to Fabrizio Romano.

    IT’S A NO FOR NETO

Arsenal have reportedly been rebuffed in their approach for Barcelona backup goalkeeper Neto.

The Brazilian benchwarmer at the Nou Camp has been linked with the Gunners for some time, but now Teamtalk are reporting that former Valencia man Neto will be going nowhere.

Mikel Arteta is eager to add a goalkeeper to their ranks, with Alex Runarsson failing to impress since his summer move from Dijon.

However it seems unlikely that the 31-year-old will become an Arsenal man this transfer window.

    BACK ALREADY?

Former Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen is nearing a return to Spurs on loan, according to reports.

Sky Italia claim that Eriksen's agent has been in contact with the North London club with the Danish midfielder falling out of favour with Inter boss Antonio Conte.

Eriksen swapped Spurs for Milan last January, but has failed to make an impact with the Nerazzurri, with the 28-year-old playing just nine times in Serie A so far this season.

However the Express report that Inter are looking to receive a fee for a loan move, but Spurs are unwilling to pay up.

    HANDS-OFF

David Moyes has issued a hands-off warning as Manchester United and Chelsea reportedly eye-up a move for West Ham star Declan Rice.

The 22-year-old has attracted interest from the Premier League giants – but Hammers boss David Moyes has revealed neither have firmed that up with a formal offer.

Moyes said: "They're not true [rumours of a bid], we've had no contact from either of those clubs regarding Declan and we wouldn't want any anyway.

"He's doing great for us, he's a big leader now, he's taken a lot of the weight off Mark Noble. He's turning out to be a really good player but also a really good boy and good around the club."

    AU REVOIR ALLI?

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports that Spurs midfielder Delle Alli could be on his way to Paris before the transfer window is over.

The 24-year-old has struggled for game time this season and is reportedly eager to be reunited with former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino at PSG on loan.

Alli is not in the squad for Spurs' clash with Sheffield United today, fuelling rumours that he could be on his way out.

    LACA TO LEAVE?

Alexandre Lacazette is subject to interest from Atletico Madrid according to Spanish outlet AS.

The 29-year-old Frenchman is into the final eighteen months of his contract at the Emirates, with negotiations for a new one yet to get underway.

That could mean the Gunners have to cash in on Lacazette in January or the summer, with Diego Simeone eager to add an experienced head to his front line to partner Luis Suarez.

Sergio Aguero is another name reportedly on Simeone's radar, although the Argentinian striker's injury record is putting off the Spanish giants from luring Aguero back to Madrid.

    EYES ON MBAYE

West Brom are reportedly keen on Galatasary frontman Mbaye Diagne, according to the Daily Mail.

The 29-year-old Senegalese international has netted nine goals in his last seven games in the Turkish Super Lig, and could be the man to fire the Baggies to safety.

Despite picking up his first win as West Brom boss yesterday, Sam Allardyce is still eager to freshen things up at the top of the pitch.

Karlan Grant, Callum Robinson and Hal Robson-Kanu have all struggled to find the back of the net, and Diagne could be the man to solve that crisis.

    GUNNERS BLOW

Brighton right back Tariq Lamptey has penned a new deal with the Seagulls which will keep him at the club until 2025.

Lamptey was a target for Arsenal this transfer window, with Hector Bellerin widely linked with a move to Barcelona.

20-year-old Lamptey has impressed for Graham Potter's side this campaign, with five goal involvements in nineteen games in all competitions.

Lamptey has only been on the south coast for twelve months after joining from Chelsea's academy, but it looks like he's there to stay.

    IT'S-A-MILAN, MARIO!

AC Milan have completed the signing of Mario Mandzukic, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The Croatian striker has been a free agent since leaving Al-Duhail in July, and will join the Rossoneri on an initial six-month deal.

The 34-year-old will arrive in Milan for a medical on Monday.

Milan have already secured the signing of midfielder Soualiho Meite from Torino this month, and Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori is expected to join on loan in the next few days.

Bournemouth striker Josh King could price himself out of a move to Everton, according to reports.

The 29-year-old has been in discussions over a move to the Premier League this month, as his contract expires in six months' time.

However, Everton could back out of a deal for the Norway international, with King demanding £120k-a-week at his new club.

Aston Villa, Fulham and Newcastle are also monitoring developments closely.

    RAMOS FUTURE

Real Madrid want Sergio Ramos to agree a pay cut to stay at the club, according to ABC.

Real are only willing to offer their captain a one-year extension to his current deal, which expires at the end of the season, while Ramos, 34, wants two more years.

All of Zinedine Zidane's squad will be asked to take a 10 per cent pay cut in light of the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic – which could be paid back to them at a later date.
