Ant McPartlin and girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett have tense conversation after Britain's Got Talent semi-final

ANT McPartlin and girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett had a tense conversation after Britain's Got Talent's semi-final on Friday.

The couple appeared deep in conversation and at one point Anne-Marie glared at the presenter as he circled her on a balcony.

Their body language was fraught with tension and former PA Anne-Marie blocked the star from coming too close with her arm.

Ant kept his eyes down and held onto his rucksack whilst Anne-Marie continued to speak.

The star had just wrapped the semi-final show that saw X and Jonathan Goodwin  make it through to the final on Sunday.

Ant had been called on stage to help X earlier in the night and had all went well.

In the past the TV host, 43, had described Anne-Marie as "a beautiful soul" adding: "She’s been my rock. We’re very happy."

After his drink-drive crash, the star admitted his "whole world came crashing in" but Anne-Marie "saved" his life.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun on Sunday he said: "Anne-Marie honestly is the fundamental reason for the great change in my life.

"She’s been my rock. She’s a beautiful soul. We’re very happy … She is the most wonderful true woman. And the way we are and when people see us together they’ll see how honest and kind and happy we make each other."

The Britain’s Got Talent co-host also spoke about how they got together.

He said: "Do you know, she’s always looked after me.

"But something changed where it went from a professional relationship. She’s still brilliant at her job, the best at what she does.

"But it gets tricky when you are working together and have feelings, those different kind of feelings, for each other.

“But I don’t know, it’s magic isn’t it? Who knows.

"If I knew, I’d bottle it. It’s great — we’re in a great place, really happy."
