Ant McPartlin shares a joke with girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett just days after tense exchange in same location

ANT McPartlin has been pictured sharing a joke with girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett – just days after they were spotted having a tense exchange in the exact same location.

The pair appeared to be in good spirits as they spent time together on the balcony before leaving the Britain's Got Talent final in London last night.

In the snaps, 43-year-old Ant is gleefully laughing as he looks at Anne-Marie, 42.

The Geordie star is dressed in a casual patterned shirt and smart black trousers, with his partner looking glam in a yellow dress and oversized jacket.

The bright colour of Anne-Marie's dress shows off her enviable tan, with the former PA's blonde hair styled into ringlet curls.

The couple look happy and relaxed in each other's company – a stark difference to the pictures that were taken after the last Britain's Got Talent semi-final on Friday night.

In those images, the two appeared deep in conversation and at one point Anne-Marie glared at the presenter as he circled her on the balcony.

Their body language looked fraught with tension and Anne-Marie seemed to block the star from coming too close with her arm.

Ant kept his eyes down and held onto his rucksack whilst Anne-Marie continued to speak.

It is believed that the star first started dating his girlfriend last March, three months after he announced his split from ex-wife Lisa Armstrong.

In a show of support and commitment the mother-of-two was with Ant when he was taken to a police station after his drink-driving arrest in March 2018 — and again when he appeared in court.

In the past, the TV presenter has described his partner has a "beautiful soul", adding to The Sun on Sunday: "Anne-Marie honestly is the fundamental reason for the great change in my life.

"She’s been my rock. She’s a beautiful soul. We’re very happy… She is the most wonderful true woman.

"And the way we are and when people see us together they’ll see how honest and kind and happy we make each other.

The Britain’s Got Talent host also spoke about how they got together.

He said: "Do you know, she’s always looked after me.

"But something changed where it went from a professional relationship. She’s still brilliant at her job, the best at what she does.

"But it gets tricky when you are working together and have feelings, those different kind of feelings, for each other.

“But I don’t know, it’s magic isn’t it? Who knows.

"If I knew, I’d bottle it. It’s great — we’re in a great place, really happy."
