BBC Breakfast reporter Anna Holligan came under fire from viewers on Friday morning, after she used her telephone to report the news from Valkenburg.

Anna was providing viewers with updates regarding the floods that have taken place overnight in Germany, Belgium and some parts of the Netherlands.

But although Anna tried her best to provide information regarding the floods, viewers at home were unimpressed with her shaky camera skills and the fact she was using her phone.

Taking to Twitter, one confused fan penned: "Selfie reporting is a thing???"

Another said: "#holligan is making me dizzy. Can she flip her camera and get out of shot?"
