BOBBI Kristina Brown's ex Nick Gordon apparently had "black stuff" foaming from his mouth when a mystery woman discovered his unresponsive body.
According to the Daily Mail, the woman called 911 at 5:15 a.m. on New Year's Day but fled the scene before firefights arrived to the 30-year-old's room at the Sheraton Orlando North Hotel.
Nick was then rushed to a local hospital but suffered a series of heart attacks and could not be saved.
In the dispatch audio obtained by TMZ, a 911 operator can be heard saying over the phone: "Black stuff coming out of his mouth and he is not breathing."
The Sun Online has confirmed that an autopsy and a toxicology exam is underway to confirm the exact cause of Nick's death.
Though it is believed that Nick suffered an overdose, his father claimed that he was drug-free.
He told the Daily Mail: "I spoke with Nick during the day. He seemed happy, he seemed calm, everything was going good.
"He was a free spirit, he was in a good state of mind. Everything that Nick was doing was great. He told me 2020 was going to be better than 2019. He had a great job."
He continued: "As for the police situation and everything it's too early to say. So no comment on the investigation or anything."
After news broke of Nick's death, his grieving brother Junior Walker wrote on Facebook: "God why did I have to lose my brother on New Year."
He later posted a heart-wrenching photo of of himself and Gordon as young boys smiling for a formal photo.
Nick's death, which was confirmed by his lawyer on Wednesday, comes five years after his fiancee Bobbi Kristina, Whitney Houston's daughter, died following a drug binge – which he was found responsible for.
She was found unconscious in a bathtub at their home in Alpharetta, Georgia, with a cocktail of drugs in her system and spent six months in a coma before her 2015 death.
Gordon never faced criminal charges over Bobbi Kristina's wrongful death but was held legally responsible following a civil case.
According to court documents, she died "following a particularly violent altercation with [Nick] that left her battered and bruised, with a tooth knocked out…"
He reportedly was the one to inject Bobbi with the cocktail that evidently killed her.
Bobbi Kristina and Nick grew up together and Whitney considered him her unofficial adoptive son.
The couple were together for three years before her unfortunate death.
