The Chase host Bradley Walsh ripped into a contestant for getting an answer incredibly wrong during the latest edition of the ITV quiz show.

Viewers at home found the TV moment hilarious but it wasn't the only thing fans were commenting on.

Fans of the show were also distracted by player Rosa's stunning looks too.

The 20-year-old welfare rights advisor from Edinburgh, answered Bradley's question about desert plants, and she butted in to say a camel.

Bradley asked: "The Mexican giant cardon is the tallest species of what desert plant?"

To which Rosa responded: "Camel."

Bradley then corrected her and stated the answer was in fact a cactus.

The other players instantly laughed at her blunder, and Bradley did his best to contain his giggles as well as he tried to push on with the quiz questions while under the clock.

Soon after, Rosa also realised her mistake and blushed at her silly answer.

After the round, Bradley took his chance to poke fun at the Scot for her hilarious response.

Many fans of the show took to Twitter to revel in her mishap, with one saying: "Lol at her Camel answer #thechase"

Another said: "Can't believe she said camel instead of cactus lol #TheChase"

While a third penned: "Love how Rosa is struggling to not laugh at her 'desert plant = camel' answer! #TheChase"

Others commented on her looks and tweeted: "#TheChase Seat 2 Rosa the flame haired Scottish lass. Phwoar."

And a fifth wrote: "I’ve got a soft spot for Rosa #thechase"

This comes a day after The Chase viewers were left completely distracted during Monday’s instalment of the hit ITV show after one contestant caught the eye of quizheads at home.

Blonde beauty, Sara, was the third contestant to step up to the podium and take on the Chaser after two of her former teammates were evicted from the competition.

As Bradley Walsh welcomed fans back to the show, he introduced this week’s lineup of budding contestants who were Sara, Jordan, Lynne and Nick.

But it was the 33-year-old from Leeds who stole the heart of the nation as viewers couldn’t believe her beauty while she took part on the daytime quiz show.

The training development manager shared her plans to bring home her recently adopted dog from Thailand fondly named Gary.

And the starlet proved she has brains and beauty as the intelligent manager as she dominated the lightning round and successfully took home £6,000.

The Chase airs weekdays on ITV at 5pm
