Brianna plays the role of Rory in Lucifer, first being introduced as the younger sister of Lucifer Morningstar (played by Tom Ellis) but her true identity is revealed much later in season six. The Netflix bosses were thrilled to have the actress on board for the sci-fi drama’s final outing, with her character being central to the drama. Here is everything you need to know about Brianna and where you might know her from.
Who is Brianna Hildebrand?
The actress has just celebrated her 25th birthday [August 14] and she was born in the town of College Station, Texas.
At birth, the full name given to her was Brianna Caitlin Hildebrand and to kickstart her professional career, she wanted to be a musician.
Having played the guitar from a young age, she started making mix-tapes for her father and moved to Los Angeles when a talent scout entered her into a competition.
It was here where she began acting and modelling but even though she has secured some huge profile roles over the years, she still wants to be a musician.
Although, she nearly ended her professional career as she found her life away from home a struggle and she tried to pursue her dreams.
Brianna said: “I had kind of a silent deal with my dad that if nothing worked out for me in the first couple of years, I would be going home.
“That gave me a lot more drive to try to make something happen,” the actress explained in an interview with the Independent.
However, since her first big role, she has gone to new heights and her success has been emulated by her ever-expanding following.
From the roles she has been cast in before Lucifer has seen the youngster become a huge hit on social media.
According to her Instagram page, she has more than 780,000 followers and in her bio, she describes herself as “an artist”.

What did Brianna Hildebrand star in before Lucifer?
When she first moved to Los Angeles, Brianna was cast in two short films entitled Prism and The Voice Inside.
This led to her being chosen to play a leading role in the movie, First Girl I Love, which saw her character, Sasha, struggling with her sexuality at school.
Filming the film was where she met her girlfriend, Jonneke Grisham, who was a set decorator on the LGBTQIA+ movie.
Discussing pushing the LGBTQIA+ agenda into the mainstream media, she said: “I think it’s important to have media reflect these experiences so that kids around, wherever they are, can feel like they belong somewhere at least.
“And it’s not the end of the world if you’re not fitting in or not like everyone else because everything when you’re a kid, feels like it’s the end of the world. I think that’s important,” she told BriefTake.
However, her first role in a major blockbuster picture came when she was cast in the role of Negasonic Teenage Warhead in the Deadpool films.
After the success of the first film in the saga, she landed a role in Tragedy Girls alongside The Hunger Games star, Josh Hutcherson.
With regards to her television work, the actress has also been cast in some high profile shows, including Lucifer.
In 2017, she starred in the horror and paranormal television show The Exorcist in the role of Verity for 10 episodes.
Two years later and after filming Deadpool 2, she was cast in the role of Elodie Davis in the teen drama, Trinkets.
Brianna starred in this for 20 episodes before moving on to play Rory in the sixth season of Lucifer.
Prior to the actress making her first appearance on the show, her character was described as “a rebellious, angsty, and ready-to-start-some-trouble angel” but viewers will have to wait and see as to who she really is.
Lucifer seasons 1-6 are available to stream on Netflix.
