Charlie Stayt addresses concerns hes quitting BBC as he responds to exit probe

Charlie Stayt is not about to step down from his post on the BBC Breakfast anytime soon.

Talk turned to the presenters career on Saturday's episode (June 11) when he was quizzed about any future exit plans by sports presenter Mike Bushell.

Mike tested the BBC host over whether he could be thinking about giving up his post for a gig on ITV's Love Island – after updating that a rugby star was about to head into the Spanish villa.

"What lengths would you go to if you had the chance to enter the Love Island villa?" asked Mike.

"Well no, I wouldn’t," shot back Naga, as Charlie remained quiet.

Turning his attention to Charlie, he quizzed: "You wouldn't give up your job would you?"

"No, I’m not planning on it Mike," awkwardly responded Charlie.
