Coronation Street's Andy Whyment soaks in his hot tub surrounded by snow after his holiday was cancelled by Covid

CORONATION Street's Andy Whyment has not let a cancelled holiday dampen his spirits, jumping into his hot tub with a beer.

Andy, 39, and his wife, Nichola, were supposed to be on a sunny holiday to the west African country of Cape Verde.

But due to changes in the restrictions around coronavirus, the couple had to cancel their plans and settle for a soak in the tub.

Andy who plays Kirk on the ITV soap shared a cute snap of the pair drinking bottled beer in the hot tub.

He captioned the Instagram post: "We should’ve flown out to Cape Verde this morning for some sunshine but instead we’re at home with snow 😂😂 at least we’ve got a nice Hot Tub to enjoy though and a beer so me and @nicski31 can’t complain too much 😀😀 xx"

Andy's fans loved his positive attitude and many admitted they were making the most of their own hot tubs.

One Instagram user wrote: "[Sic] Rubbish isnt, we had to cancel our holiday, have fun in the hot tub🍾🥂"

Another added: "Haha enjoying life mate! Enjoy it!"
