Coronation Street: Stephen Reid commits second murder
Coronation Street’s Tim Metcalfe (played by Joe Duttine) is left fighting for his life as he threatens to reveal killer Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce).
Last month, ITV viewers watched as Stephen’s downfall started to begin after he learnt Leo Thompkins’ (Joe Frost) body he disposed of last year had finally been discovered.
Fearing his past crimes would unravel, he went to the canal in the early hours of the morning to make sure Teddy Thompkins’ (Grant Burgin) body was still hidden where he dumped it.
However, unbeknownst to him, Tim spotted him acting suspiciously prodding the water and spied on him from behind the bushes.
When his phone started to ring, Stephen was alarmed he was being watched and fled the scenes, leaving Tim stumped as to what he was up to before being interrupted.

Official spoilers for the ITV soap reveal as Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) tries to plan wedding anniversary plans for her and Tim, he’s distracted by what he’s heard.
As someone mentions Stephen is interested in the canal dredging project, it gets the cogs whirring for Tim that something isn’t right about the whole situation.
Taking a trip back to the canal to investigate for himself, Tim finds a discarded boat hook and starts poking around in the water.

However, he’s stunned when a corpse’s hand floats to the surface and he quickly flees back to the cab to call the police.
As he starts to report the finding of a dead body, the phone cuts out and Stephen quickly climbs into the back of the cab before Tim can call the police back.
Realising he knows too much, Stephen tries to strike again as he strangles Tim with his tie in an attempt to kill him.
Managing to get out of the car, Tim makes a bid for freedom but trips on his shoelace.
Clambering to his feet, he’s soon knocked unconscious by Stephen with a brick, leaving his life in the balance.
Will Tim manage to escape the situation? Or has Stephen claimed the life of yet another person?
Elsewhere in Weatherfield, the residents start to piece together the dead bodies link back to Stephen, leaving Sally fearful for her husband’s life as he fails to show up to their anniversary.
Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV from 8pm.
