DANIELLE Armstrong has slammed High Street clothing brand Zara for its “small” sizing as she struggles to fit into a pair of “large” jeans.
The former TOWIE star, 32, criticised the retail giant for categorising sizes 12-14 as “large” after she was initially unable to squeeze into the jeans.
The reality star said that she did not think the sizing was a fair as the stressed that the “majority of women in the UK is a size 12 to 14”.
However, Danielle was over the moon that she is now able to fit into the size 12 jeans admitting that she “feels like her old self”.
She revealed that she was size 14 to 16 after she welcomed daughter Orla in May with fiancé Tom Edney.
Danielle said: “Guys I am having a moment, I’ve got to share it with you all. I’m so excited, I feel a bit emotional.
“Six weeks ago I went shopping, after you have a baby you don’t know what fashion suits you and your body that you don’t feel that’s your body.”
She continued: “I went shopping in Zara, I bought these jeans on. They were UK size 12. I was a size 14-16 after having Orla.
“We all know Zara, they’re not very good at their sizes. Can I just say anyone who is watching this at Zara’s head office, I don’t think it’s good.
“In Zara a large is like 12-14, as if that’s a large.The majority of women in the UK, the average is a size 12 or 14.
“I came home and tried all my stuff and it was a disaster, I could not get these up six weeks ago.”
The new mum was excited to share her weight loss with her admitting that she thrilled to be able to wear a pair of baggy high-wasted jeans and a little vest.
The blonde beauty said: “I woke up this morning and I’m starting to feel a little bit more like how I did before I was pregnant.
“It just feels nice to be able to put on a little vest and high waisted jeans – it’s been so long.”
Danielle has been on a fitness drive since giving birth and recently posted her body transformation pictures showing off her remarkable weight loss.
She explained that he had gained four stone during her pregnancy and said she was "really happy" with her progress.
Danielle posted on Instagram after taking her latest picture, revealing: "I'm actually pleasantly surprised. Women, we are always so self-critical.
"These are my results in 21 days and I'm going to show you how far I've come since having Orla two weeks after having Orla I took a photo compared to now.
"I'm really happy – of course I'm never going to lose all my baby weight in these 21 day challenges. It's going to take time.
"I did put on four stone in my pregnancy but I also just ate ridiculous, didn't I mum?"
Danielle told fans that she couldn't be happier after becoming a first-time mum, saying: "My world is complete."
However, she added: "I literally feel like I've been hit by a bus. I'm so pleased she's here, I feel like the happiest girl in the world."
