Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) in Emmerdale has got on the wrong side of many of the villagers since his arrival.
He’s been working with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) on dodgy robbery jobs, but it was in tonight’s episode that Mackenzie gained a new partner – Kim Tate (Claire King).
After Chas (Lucy Pargeter) gave Charity a stern talking to, she told her Sarah (Katie Hill) and Noah (Jack Downham) would be visiting and she needed to make peace with them.
The thought of rebuilding her relationship with Sarah and Noah was too important for Charity, and she told Mackenzie she would be prioritising her family over the robbery jobs.
Mackenzie attempted to get Aaron (Danny Miller) to partake in his crimes, but as Aaron didn’t trust Mackenzie, he too declined the offer, sending them away feeling annoyed once more.
It was Kim overhearing Cain (Jeff Hordley) talking to Mackenzie that prompted her to tell them the idea of working together to destroy Cain.
Cain has already threatened Mackenzie and once Kim found out the trouble Jamie (Alexander Lincoln) had got himself into with Cain as well, the two of them realised they both wanted the same thing: to see the end of Cain Dingle.
Kim is certainly someone that knows what she’s doing, so will working with Mackenzie to see the back of Cain work in her favour? Or is it doomed to fail?
