Eve's life turned upside down as new romance reveals true identity in EastEnders

Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) is set to have her world turned upside down when her new romantic interest drops a shocking secret in EastEnders.

Ever since secret lover Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) called time on their relationship, Eve has been on the rebound, leaving her ex-girlfriend hurt.

In upcoming scenes, Suki will be hit with a pang of jealousy when she overhears a woman called Caz searching for Eve in the café.

Assuming that she is Eve’s new love interest, she interrupts a conversation between her and Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris), stopping her from revealing Eve’s whereabouts.

However, word soon gets back to Eve, who heads to the café to find out more about her secret admirer. After a short conversation, she agrees to a date with who she believes to be ‘Amanda’.

Later, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) realises that Eve has been ignoring Amanda’s calls, and encourages her to give her a chance. Defensive, Eve claps back demanding that Stacey stop leading Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis) on.

‘I don’t think that Eve is in any way ready to move on, but she is trying desperately,’ actress Heather Peace revealed.

‘Eve is convinced the Suki thing is done and that this is absolutely it, so she understands that she needs to try to move on, but it’s very obvious that she’s not ready.’

When Eve leaves her phone unattended, Stacey realises that she has organised a date with Caz, who is posing as Amanda. However, when Stacey is freaked out by another letter from her stalker, Eve insists that she can’t leave her.

Determined not to get in the way of Eve and romance, Stacey demands that she go on the date, even going so far as to lend her an outfit for the evening.

Unfortunately for Eve, the spark she was hoping for just isn’t there, and she attempts to leave the awkward date early.

However, she is soon stopped stopped in her tracks by Amanda, who reveals that she is actually named Caroline.

Eve is left reeling by Caroline’s revelations and is supported by Stacey, who warns her not to see her again. But with Stacey distracted by a visit from the social workers, Eve goes against her advicee and heads off to meet up with Caroline once more.

Later, she arrives home in a fit of rage and begins to trash the place, leaving Theo feigning concern for her welfare.
