Far-right extremist Aaron tells Harvey a bomb will explode in EastEnders

This article contains explicit discussion around an Islamophobia hate storyline.

Aaron Monroe (Charlie Wernham) has revealed his and Neil’s plan to bomb the mosque in EastEnders – and it’s happening tomorrow.

This week, leader of the Far-right gang, Neil, met up with Aaron and told him they need to take their plan to the next level.

Initially, the group were planning on setting fire to The Argee Bhajee (the building where the new mosque will be) in a bid to ‘make a statement’ for their ’cause’.

However, Neil told Aaron they should plant an explosive device instead.

Concern has been growing for Aaron, who’s aware Dana (Barbara Smith) will be at The Albert when the bomb goes off.

Tonight, Neil met up with Aaron again.

A burner phone in hand, Neil told Aaron that all he has to do is send the text and the bomb will go off.

Watching the interaction was Harvey (Ross Boatman), who recognised Neil from Aaron’s past.

Confronting his son again, Harvey wanted answers.

Aaron was reluctant to tell his dad what was going on, but eventually revealed Neil had gone too far and now, he can’t get out of the mess he’s in.

Aaron told a horrified Harvey that ‘they’ve planted a bomb and it’s going off – tonight’.

But can Harvey put a stop to this?

Aware Dana could be in danger, will Aaron help his dad and stop the attack going ahead?

While they have a few hours, we’ll have to wait until tomorrow’s New Year’s Eve episode to see just whether or not the bomb will go off.
