JAMES Argent told fans "the weight is dropping off" as he prepared to swim the channel with Love Island's Wes Nelson.
Gemma Collins' boyfriend said he's "never worked so hard" alongside a snap of him posing topless with the reality hunk.
He told fans: "I’ve never worked this hard or been so committed to anything in my life!
"@wes.nelson has been so supportive & has motivated me. In 1 month we are swimming across the channel & leading our team to France in aid of @su2cuk #[email protected] ?♂️ #failureisnotanoption"
Wes added to fans: "Honestly so proud of @real_arg the weight is falling off 4 weeks out from our big swim across the for stand up to cancer! Let’s get it"
The Towie star, 31, is determined to slim down this year and has taken up the challenge to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.
He told Sun Online back in January that he's also taken up boxing after being inspired by girlfriend Gemma Collins who dropped two-stone as a result of her Dancing on Ice training in January.
In an exclusive interview he said: “In regards to my body – I need to work on that. I need to get back in the gym and boxing again.
“I’m desperate to get back on track. I need to work on my fitness that is my number one New Year’s resolution – but I find it so difficult.
“I struggle to get into a routine and structure with my job I’m here, there and everywhere.
“I’m not going to put a goal or aim on it because I can’t put any pressure on myself. All I want to do is get back into my boxing, set my band up and secure a show on TV with myself and Gemma.”
However, his proud girlfriend, whose solo reality show Diva Forever aired last night on ITVBe, told Good Morning Britain viewers yesterday that she'd gained a stone again on holiday in recent weeks.
The Towie star, who has confirmed she won't appear in the next series, had lost a further two stone by taking "flab jabs" before her trip, but failed to keep her weight down abroad.
She said: "I have gained a stone back. I haven't had the jab for eight weeks. But when I was using it I lost two stone …
"It's fantastic, but like everything, don't expect a miracle cure, you cannot inject a jab and then be eating burgers and chips and pizzas. You have to apply yourself."
During the chat, Gemma admitted her penchant for fast food had a big part to play in her size.
