CAUSE OF DEATH
The cause of death was reportedly a fatal injury after officials found a stab wound on her body.
According to TMZ, the murder weapon was a knife.
Angela's boyfriend, 49-year-old Jason, was arrested and charged with murder by both the LAPD and the Simi Valley Police Department, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Police believe he killed her at her Sherman Oaks residence before moving her body to the car and driving her to Simi Valley in the early morning hours of December 23.
The district attorney claimed Jason killed Angela "with the intent to cause cruel and extreme pain and suffering for the purpose of revenge, extortion, persuasion and for a sadistic purpose."
He's now being held on a $2 million bond.
Angela, who was the mother of five kids, worked with the Tupac Shakur estate as well.
One close music business associate described her as “a straight shooter” and “hard-working.”
Friends added that she was “beloved” in her industry.
Boulevard’s Todd C. Bozick said in a statement to Variety: “We are saddened and heartbroken by the loss of our colleague, Angie Kukawski.
"Angie was a kind, wonderful person, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
"Our deepest condolences go out to all of Angie’s family and friends.”
