Love Island 2019: Cast strip down to swimwear ahead of show launch tonight

LOVE Island is back with a bang tonight – and the cast have already turned up the heat by stripping down to their swimwear.

Ahead of this year's launch episode, the new gang of Islanders have got their kit off and posed for a series of sizzling snaps.

The show will kick off with five girls and seven boys arriving in the Spanish villa before the first coupling up gets underway.

Among this year's line-up is Lucy Donlan, who has wasted no time in slipping into a racy nude bikini.

The pretty blonde, 21, has previously been linked to Joey Essex, former Love Island star Charlie Frederick AND McFly star Dougie Poynter.

There are some serious brain boxes among the girls too, with pharmacist Anna Vakili, 28, and scientist Yewande Biala, 23, both hoping to find love on the island.

Curvaceous Anna opted for a summery yellow bikini for her close-up, while Yewande posed in the pool while wearing a blue and white two-piece.

Beauty therapist Amber Gill, 21, who admits she is "hot-headed", is wearing white in the new set of pictures, while Amy Hart – who previously dated Pop Idol crooner Darius Campbell – chose something a little more sassy.

The boys haven't hung around with getting their six packs out either.

Hoping to woo the ladies inside the villa is Curtis Pritchard, the younger brother of Strictly Come Dancing professional AJ.

But the girls had better watch their backs, as Curtis – also a professional dancer – has got history when it comes to being unfaithful.

Speaking about a previous relationship, he admitted: "I have cheated before, but that isn’t why I split with that girlfriend. I will always be loyal from now on."

Keen to show off his muscular body is 19-year-old boxer Tommy Fury, who also has a famous sibling.

Tommy is the little brother of boxing champ Tyson Fury and insists he is "loyal down to the roots".

Aircraft engineer Callum Macleod, 28, only rates himself as a "6.2 out of 10" when it comes to looks, however he seemed pretty confident in his body while lying by the pool in a pair of white swim shorts.

And firefighter Michael Griffiths, 27, also appeared delighted by the opportunity to show off his tattooed chest.

The other lads completing the line-up are Sherif Lanre, 20, Joe Garratt, 22. and Anton Danyluk, 24.

Series five of Love Island kicks off tonight (Monday June 3, 2019, at 9pm.

Viewers can then get their fix of the show every night on ITV2.

The main show will give us the lowdown on all the goings-on in the villa – from couples cracking on to singletons getting mugged off – while Saturday night's show is a round-up of the week's best bits.

Love Island host Caroline Flack can't wait for things to kick off and she is even hoping for some never-seen-before saucy action this year.

Speaking to The Sun, Caroline said she hoped the Islanders make more use of the Hideaway this year, especially as it now features a Jacuzzi.

She said: “We haven’t had a threesome. We don’t usually let three people in The Hideaway – there’s usually only two. Maybe this year we can.

“The hot tub being in The Hideaway is a good. I think they’ll use it more. Hot tubs with two people are sexy. Hot tubs with six are dirty.”
