Love Island’s Maura and Curtis will be the ‘first to split’ according to body language expert

Love Island’s Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard may have finished in fourth place in the grand final, but a body language expert reckons they will come first in the race to Splitsville.

As they sat down to chat with host Caroline Flack about their relationship in the villa, Curtis put his arm around Maura, but Maura appeared to move away from her beau.

Her frosty body language was spotted by expert Judi James, who warns the couple could be heading towards a break up.

Judi told The Sun Online: “I think she might crack first in terms of not keeping up the pairing, she seemed to pop further away up the seat as they sat down and sucked in her lips, which can be an expression or regret or wariness as Curtis spoke primarily about himself.

"Her foot was tapping in a metronomic gesture too, which can suggest irritation or a desire to get on with things."

Judi said Maura is quite open when it comes to her body language so it’s easy to see how she’s feeling.

“Maura has been such a great character and her body language does tend to be pretty honest,” she added. "She looked genuinely stricken when they only got into fourth place and her facial expressions with Curtis suggested a range of emotions."

Fans also spotted Maura’s “unimpressed” reaction to Amber Gill and Greg O’Shae taking the Love Island crown .

The Irish model was seen pulling a face after it was announced that Amber and Greg had bagged the £50,000 prize.

“Anyone else see Maura’s face when Amber and Greg won? She didn’t look too impressed,” one fan tweeted.

Curtis and Maura have been coupled up for 12 days after Curtis ended his ‘half-boyfriend and half-girlfriend’ relationship with air stewardess Amy Hart, who refused to watch the final.

It has been far from smooth sailing for the couple, who were caught in a love triangle with Francesca Allen at the start of the relationship.

Maura has since been been warned by fellow islander Anna Vakili about Curtis and accuses him of not being genuine.

Fans were also convinced Maura’s mum "hates" professional dancer Curtis as she said he was “nice” when she came into the villa.
