Molly-Mae Hague breaks down in tears as her new book reaches number one on Amazon after just a day | The Sun

MOLLY-Mae Hague broke down in tears after her new book reached the top spot in the Amazon charts after just one day.

The 23-year-old was overwhelmed as Becoming Molly-Mae was bought by thousands desperate to know the secret to her success.

Sharing a crying face emoji, the Love Island star wrote:  “No 1 bestseller on Amazon after on day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support.”

The book tells the story of how Molly went from an energetic child to a multimillionaire, with a spot of Love Island in between.

Surprisingly, she reveals she almost didn’t make it on the show – because she didn’t want to be a bombshell.

Molly appeared on the show in 2019 and quickly coupled up with Tommy Fury, who she is still with now, – becoming one of the most successful Love Island couples of all time.

Writing about the experience in her new book, Becoming Molly-Mae, she explained: “They wanted me, but as a bombshell which meant that I'd be joining the villa as a late arrival to shake things up. I didn’t want to do it.

“My friends Steph (Lam) and Ellie (Brown) had both been on the show themselves and told me the things to look out for, one of them being that bombshells didn't always make it onto the on show as there were always quite a few of them on standby.

“The TV team was trying to persuade me otherwise, telling me I' d be the first bombshell to go in, and I thought, Nah. I was pretty sceptical about it.
