Queen of the South came to a satisfying end in June, with everyone on Teresa Mendoza’s (played by Alice Braga) side living peacefully without constantly looking over their shoulders. With that being said a USA Network streamer has spotted a major clue about Teresa.

Queen of the South followed hardcore queen pin, Teresa Mendoza, as she created businesses while she dodged bullets from her enemies.

She also had her trusted network of people who always had her back to handle problems for her.

In season four Teresa made the questionable decision to cut off her deal with Marcel Dumas (Alimi Ballard), despite being one of her most trusted guys in New Orleans.

This created a war between them and Dumas was getting prepared to take her and her gang out.

This is where a fan noticed a major plot hole with Teresa and took to Reddit to expose it.

They posted: “In S4 E6, Marcel Dumas tells Teresa that he is going to hit up all of his shooters from every city to kill her.”

“Teresa tells him to hold off on that and proceeds to tell Dumas about one of his henchmen (Cedric) that is secretly working with the police in order to save herself,” they added.

The viewer questioned: “Doesn’t this make Teresa a snitch? She is telling on someone to save herself like how a “snitch” tells on someone to save their own skin.”

Another viewer disagrees with the idea of Teresa being a snitch and responded: ”Cedric works for Dumas and is snitching, Teresa doesn’t work for Dumas but is trying to become a business partner to him.”

They explained: “Finding out how info is leaked out and telling him does not make her a snitch.

“It’s a very smart move to win him and to show him that his current ally the Judge gets inside info on him secretly,” they added.

The viewer stated: “Teresa is building alliances, not saving herself as she may be at war with Dumas but she doesn’t depend on him.”

However, this later came tumbling down by season five as Teresa was forced to pin a crime on Dumas.

Tons of fans were upset to see her turn on her closest allies because Boaz Jimenez (Joseph T Campos) made a very risky and reckless move after the death of Judge Lafayette (David Andrews).

Despite being completely innocent Dumas had to take the fall and was placed behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit.

Shockingly she didn’t even have a backup lined up for him to be granted early release or break him out.

Despite Boaz going against her orders and becoming a liability, she was forced to keep him around as he was useful for the business.

This was a major betrayal for Dumas because he had even professed his love for Teresa to James Valdez (Peter Gadiot).

Eventually, by the end of the series, Teresa’s trusted sicario murdered Boaz in a brutal knife fight before driving off to live a free life.
