Soaps – Britain's great entertainment obsession.

Whether your fave is Corrie, Eastenders or Emmerdale, we've got all the latest news, gossip and spoilers right HERE on The Sun's soaps live blog.

For example, Coronation Street fans will welcome Will Mellor to the Cobbles in his first "out-and-out baddie" role as drugs lord Harvey.

The Manchester actor, of Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps fame, has shunned a return to rival soap, Hollyoaks, by doing so.

Things weren’t looking great for the pair’s relationship last year as Sharon tried to kill Phil after initially blaming him for her son Dennis’ death.

Meanwhile Claire King haas told Emmerdale fans that Kim Tate will become an even more extreme character over the coming weeks.

Appearing on ITV's Lorraine, Claire said: "I’ve seen the scripts that are coming up in the future and yes, she is definitely getting worse."

EMMERDALE FANS LEFT HOT UNDER THE COLLAR AS CHARLES WALKS IN ON RHONA AND MARLON

EMMERDALE viewers were left hot under the collar as Rhona Goskirk stripped to silk lingerie for a romp with Marlon Dingle last night.

EASTENDERS FANS CONVINCED GRAY WILL MURDER KUSH

EASTENDERS fans are convinced Gray Atkins is going to murder Kush Kazemi as the hunky market trader grows closer to Whitney Dean.

The evil killer – who is played by actor Toby Alexander Smith in the BBC soap – has so far claimed two victims with his violence.

He first killed wife Chantelle after years of abusing and controlling her, before claiming Tina Carter as his second victim.

Recently viewers have watched as Gray has become controlling towards Whitney Dean after she decided to help him with his kids.

He ruined her chances of a date and expects her to be at his beck and call.

With Kush set to share a moment with Whitney on Valentine’s Day, viewers are convinced Gray will end up murdering Kush and facilitate actor Davood Ghadami’s exit.

CORRIE ACCUSED OF COPYING HOLLYOAKS WITH SIMON BARLOW DRUGS PLOT

CORONATION Street has been accused of copying Hollyoaks with its new drugs plot.

The ITV soap has launched a major new storyline for Simon Barlow where he gets drawn into the world of drug dealing.

He has been manipulated into getting into debt with dealer Jacob with the big drugs lord boss set to arrive on the cobbles soon.

Cobbles boss Iain Macleod described the storyline as "thriller-esque" in the run up to summer.

However, soap fans couldn't help but notice the similarities to its Channel 4 rival's county lines drugs plot.

The long-running plot has seen Juliet Quinn be drawn into drug dealing by a low level dealer, before the terrifying drug lord made his appearance.

One wrote: "Corrie is just copying Hollyoaks. They all have the same storylines over and over again."

A second said: "I think HO have once again knocked it out the park with their County Lines story.

EASTENDERS’ ANNETTE BADLAND HINTS AT SHOCK RETURN AND FUELS RUMOURS TINA IS ALIVE

EASTENDERS star Annette Badland has hinted she's making a shock return to the Walford – and that Tina Carter isn't dead.

The 70-year-old actress, who played the Square legend Babe Smith from 2014 to 2017 in the BBC soap, has fuelled the rumours by teasing that her niece is actually alive and seeking her aunt's help.

Back in December Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White) was murdered by evil Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) after he realised that she knew he had killed his wife Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Kate Plummer).

But fans of the show think that she's still alive and somehow managed to escape Gray's evil ways.

To add to their suspicion, Annette has suggested that her alter-ego may return to Walford in a major plot twist.

The star tweeted out a touching clip of the Carter family in the Queen Vic from many years ago and captioned the post: "Faaaaaaamily!"

A fan of EastEnders – who clearly doesn't think Tina is dead – replied to the tweet: "What a character Aunt Babe was, hopefully a return is imminent! Just as I’m tweeting this, I’m thinking what if Tina has gone off to get Aunt Babe’s help?!"

And the actress simply replied: "Be careful what you wish for."

EASTENDERS’ JACK FURIOUS AS DENISE REFUSES TO TELL HIM WHO KIDNAPPED HER

JACK Branning will be furious with Denise Fox in EastEnders tonight when she refuses to tell him the truth about her kidnapping.

The policeman – who is played by actor Scott Maslen in the BBC soap – will demand to know the truth about where Denise was – but will she tell him?

Fans already fear for the lives of Chelsea and Denise after drug dealer Caleb Malone issued a chilling threat.

Chelsea, played by Zaarah Abrahams, has brought plenty of trouble to the family, and now she and her mother are putting together a dangerous plan to escape unscathed.

We saw Denise once again sitting hunched on the floor of a dark and dingy room after she vanished in last Friday's episode.

It didn't take long to find out who had kidnapped her as Chelsea's drug dealer took revenge on her for not taking his drugs to Ibiza.

Chelsea met the kingpin in E20 and hissed: "I will give you one last chance to pay off your debt."

He then declared: "Do you want your mum back in one piece? Then get my drugs to Ibiza and your mum comes home safe."

Chelsea demanded: "Let her go", which did not help matters as her dealer warned: "You let me down again, and I will come after your whole family."

Later, after a relieved Charlsea saw her mum walking through the Square, she told Denise she would risk taking the drugs to Ibiza.

But Denise shut this down before coming up with a plan to team up and bring about Lucas’s downfall together.

CORRIE’S IZZY ARMSTRONG WON’T RETURN ‘FOR A WHILE’

CORONATION Street’s Izzy Armstrong won’t return "for a while", it has been revealed.

Actress Cherylee Houston is unable to return to the soap because she is being forced to shield at home.

The 46-year-old was diagnosed with the rare connective tissue disorder, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome when she was 23.

It makes her vulnerable to the effects of coronavirus so has had to delay her return to the soap, which she first joined in 2010.

She told disappointed fans it'll be "a little while yet, I'm afraid" when they asked when she'll be back on their screens.

But things are about to get a whole lot worse when a menacing drugs lord called Harvey makes an entrance and draws Leanne and Simon into his dangerous world.

Corrie producer Iain Macleod explained: "What we're trying to do with Simon and Leanne is find a way to play their grief that doesn't feel like grief stories that we've done and other shows might have done.

“We've come up with something that starts quite small, but ends up turning into this colossal, thriller-ish, high-octane piece that will play out in the first six months of 2021.

"It ends up with Simon being driven by grief and getting himself into an inescapable situation.

“That forces Leanne to put her war paint on and go out in defence of her remaining son.

“She takes on an incredibly dangerous situation in order to protect Simon.

"That ends up drawing in Nick and Sam – and it collides with Peter and Carla's love story too. It is a grief story, but it's far removed from being one woman sitting alone in a room and feeling sad."

According to Denise, things are only going to get worse as she told TV Times: "She has a very dark, narcissistic side, but she is also great fun.

"There's a real passive-aggressiveness toward Maxine, it's not a healthy relationship, but it's also not uncommon."

EASTENDERS FANS FUMING AS SOAP PULLED OFF AIR IN SCHEDULING SHAKE-UP

EASTENDERS fans are fuming as the soap has seen a change in its schedule this week.

The BBC serial drama usually airs on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings, with a break on Wednesdays.
